My house is new. Does the garage still need prep?
Yes. A new slab is usually sound, which keeps costs down, but builder-grade concrete still has to be diamond ground so the coating can bond mechanically. Skipping that step is the single most common reason coatings peel.
Can you fix a peeling DIY epoxy kit?
That’s a regular job for us in Cibolo. We grind the failed coating off completely, repair anything underneath, and install an industrial two-component system that bonds properly.
How new is too new for concrete?
Fresh concrete generally needs about 28 days to cure before coating. If your build is more recent than that, we’ll tell you when to book rather than install over green concrete.
What does a Cibolo garage floor cost?
Most two-car garages run $2,500–$4,500 depending on square footage and finish. Newer slabs often land at the lower end because less repair work is needed.
